CRT Testing begins April 24th and ends May 16th. Please avoid making doctor appointments during this time. Students can find out what their specific testing days are by asking their teachers. Be sure to have a good nights sleep and breakfast prior to your tests. Good luck and do your best!
Coming ahead is a week you have been waiting for, well its almost here!
Each day students can wear something different that is not allowed by normal dress-code rules. Be sure to take advantage of this fun and rule bending opportunity.  In past years we have had competitions between students for who had the craziest crazy hair or pants, socks, or whatever the daily theme was. Come prepared to amaze your friends and win!

Monday is Crazy Pants.  You can break normal dress-code rules and wear something different or multicolored, but please do not wear pajama pants or sweatpants, and nothing with holes in them.

Tuesday is for the tropics. Pick your best tropical, or Hawaiian shirt and wear that instead of a polo.

Wednesday you should wear a crazy tie.  Maybe not just one, but wear many!  Show off how stylish you are, or show off how crazy you are.

Thursday is a big day. You still have to wear a polo, but it can be any polo you want! Different colors is fine, stripes, polka dots, designed, printed, anything goes. You can even design your own polo!  Our ever famous spirit assembly is at the end of the school day and will get out at 2:45.  Immediately after that is the school dance in the gym. The dance will last an hour, will cost $2 (unless you have a free admission card) and you will need you school issued ID card.

Friday is the end of our spirit week, but ends with a bang.  This is everyone's favorite crazy hair day! Do something fantastic with your hair- whether its long or short, dark or light. Spike it, color it, make weird braids or designs or wrap it in weird ways. For those of you getting creative with hair dyes- you need to have normal hair by Monday again. It should wash out in 2-4 washes.

Kennedy Jr. has put on the play Annie March 6th, 7th, and 8th beginning at 7 P.M.  Tickets are $3 for pre-sales and $5 at the door.  They can be purchased in advance from any cast member, the office or at the door.  It promises to be a night of fun.  Come enjoy a night of students highlighting their acting, singing, and dancing skills!

A big thank you to everyone involved!

The newsletter is now available for the 3rd quarter.  Parents- your student should have brought it home Monday, February 4th.  This issue discusses school safety and lockdown- drills, the school play, reflection contest winners, the new school counselor, and new teachers.

Friday (Feb 1st) is the next one.  Our wonderful PTSA has set up an agreement with the Village Inn (4800W 3500S) for the first friday of every month. 10% of what they make that night (5-8pm) will go directly to our school for much needed supplies.  Please, we want a huge crowd there each time for our school support.  If you are involved with a club or extracurricular activity please get your whole group to go.  See you all Friday!

Future Dates are:
  • March 1st

This year Kennedy wants to stamp out hunger one can at a time.  The student body officers are hosting a food drive until November 15th.   Please help them in the cause and donate non-perishable food items.  All canned goods will be donated to the Utah Food Bank to help hungry Utah families.

The grade with the most donated items will receive free admission into the winter dance.  Help us in the cause to end Utah hunger by donating today.
