National "Read a Book Day"

Tuesday, September 6th is National "Read a Book Day." Students will have the opportunity to read for 20 minutes in each period that day. Reading is an essential skill and should be developed through academic and pleasure reading on a daily basis. Parents: please help us further encourage our students to read by giving them a quiet place to read each day at home. You are their greatest influence and can model positive reading habits by having books available for your children and taking your own opportunity to read every day. Thanks
